The Aug. 6 Wall Street Journal article “New Wrinkle: It’s Time for Your Face to Work Out” discusses a new fad, the Face Gym.
According to the article, “Facial exercise is a fitness fad that has generated controversy since Jack LaLanne promised a generation that puckered cheeks and scrunched brows would help people look younger.”
Although there is some benefit from working the muscles in your face with the kind of mild stimulation utilized by Saks Fifth Avenue, which recently added Face/Gym to its cosmetics floor, these treatments do not provide the kind of deep stimulation required to dramatically increase muscle tone in the face and neck.
The BioLift procedure offered at Prescott DermaLift Clinic utilizes the most advanced technology to stimulate specific muscles in the face and neck. The equipment was originally developed to correct the facial effects of stroke and Bell’s palsy patients, and now has a cosmetic application.
This treatment was one of the new effective therapies cited by The Wall Street Journal in its article “Tired of the Frozen Face.” If the BioLift can correct the facial distortion caused by strokes and Bell’s palsy, just think of what it can do to sculpt muscles that are sagging due to age and lifestyle.
One of InStyle magazine’s most viewed articles, Jennifer Aniston’s Best Beauty Secrets, cited her number one secret as being “instead of getting Botox, get microcurrent facials to tighten and tone your skin.”
The Wall Street Journal article said Meghan Markle, the newest member of the British Royal family, is also a fan of working out her facial muscles using microcurrent treatments.
Many feel they need to travel to major metropolitan locations to do so; however, now, these treatments are available at the Prescott DermaLift Clinic, the only provider of the Quantum Hydration Facial in Arizona.
As we age, the underlying muscles in the face and neck become elastic and unable to support the skin tissue attached to them. In addition, the skin loses its ability to regenerate new tissue and its ability to moisturize itself. Fluid buildup, wrinkles and sagging are the end result of this process. The Bio-Electric Rejuvenation unit uses a variety of frequencies to stimulate cells and re-educate muscles. The equipment uses universal healing frequencies to tone muscles, reduce fluid retention, and to soften wrinkles. Specific techniques are used to lift and keep muscles firm. This process also creates elasticity in the tissue keeping the skin healthy. The number of treatments a person needs depends upon their age and condition when they first begin treatment. After the initial series, most clients come in periodically for a maintenance treatment to keep the muscles tight and healthy. The BioLift is incredible as a preventative and a corrective treatment.
Most clients see a difference after the very first treatment. Because the equipment operates at micro amperage levels, the client is comfortable and some find it relaxing. With a surgical face-lift, the muscles and skin are cut and stretched. Within a few years after a surgical lift, muscles and skin will again begin to sag. The Bio-Electric can be used to enhance or maintain many surgical procedures.
Bio-Electric Rejuvenation combined with Quantum Hydration Therapy is the newest and most effective therapy the rejuvenate skin and muscles in the face and neck. Combining the BioLift with Quantum Hydration Therapy enhances the results of both treatments substantially. Treatments are non-invasive and non-toxic with no down time. The combined treatments are affordable, at just $90 for a one-hour treatment. Dermaplane and enzyme facials are also available. QCBN
