The inaugural summer horseracing season wrapped up at Arizona Downs on Labor Day weekend with an incredible crowd, and great fanfare as we rolled out our “Luck Happens” promotion. Spreading good fortune was a fitting end to our 2019 season, considering the good fortune we’ve experienced throughout the summer, including:
Thousands of fans who came to Arizona Downs to experience horse racing for the very first time, and kept returning weekend after weekend.
Avid horse racing enthusiasts who continuously thanked us for bringing horse racing back to Yavapai County.
Dozens of sponsors and partners who supported Arizona Downs in a variety of ways throughout the summer.
Support from community leaders who helped us push for the successful passage of new legislation that is foundational for strengthening year-round racing in Arizona.
We’ve been feeling the love from the entire community all summer, and are looking forward to an even more successful racing season in the summer of 2020.
Although our inaugural summer racing season has concluded, the good times will continue at Arizona Downs throughout the year. In addition to hosting corporate events, weddings, proms and other events for various groups, the spacious and beautiful indoor/outdoor venue is offering a variety of activities for the community to enjoy.
