The Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society has announced that Yavapai College students Megan Daubert and Taylor Haynes have been named 2014 Coca-Cola Community College Academic Team Scholars. Daubert, a biology major with a 4.0 GPA, was named a Gold Scholar and will receive a $1,500 scholarship and a special medallion. Haynes, a comparative cultural studies major, was named a Silver Scholar and will receive a $1,250 scholarship and a special medallion. ERAU Golf Team Competing in China
The Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Men’s and Women’s Golf Program have received a prestigious invitation to compete in an international match hosted by the Beijing Shichahai Sports School in in Beijing, China. The teams will be in Beijing June 4th through June 14th. The Beijing Shichahai sports school has been training Olympic athletes since its inception in 1958.
