Prescott National Forest will be closing Hayfield Draw Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Trailhead fromJune 1, 2014 to August 31, 2014 during the hot summer season when the area receives limited visitation. There will be no services provided during this time—restrooms will be closed, and trash removal and regular maintenance will be discontinued. Services will resume when the site is reopened on September 1, 2014. The 80-acre Hayfield Draw OHV Travel Management Area will remain open for OHVs that meet the 50-inches or less width restrictions by accessing the site via Forest System Trails 527, 543, and 545. Motorized access from Hwy. 260 will not be available. If you have questions or concerns please call the Verde Ranger District at (928) 567-4121.
Recreationist looking for a developed OHV Area can visit the Alto Pit OHV Day-Use and Campground Recreation Area which is located in Prescott.
