During the months of May and June 2014, a logging operation will be conducted on lands administered by the Prescott National Forest, adjacent to Forest Road 373 and Forest Road 51 west of Thumb Butte. People recreating in this area should anticipate logging operations, log truck hauling, general noise, and dusty conditions. Dispersed campsites may be intermittently closed and there may be significant noise directly adjacent to some designated dispersed campsites. Log hauling is not permitted on weekends and federally recognized holidays from May 15 to September 30. People in the area should use caution during ongoing operations.
