The Prescott Valley Public Library invites parents to sign up their kids, ages 6-9, for an evening of stories, crafts and snacks during the December Parents’ Night Out, “Here Comes the Grinch!” from 6 – 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, at the Prescott Valley Public Library, 7401 E. Civic Circle.
The first day of signups for this activity begins at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
The Grinch will appear in person during this night of fun for boys and girls. Rare WhoRoastBeast (burgers), WhoPudding and Popcorn will be provided by the Friends of the Library. Ted Johnson, asst. library director and Roy Jenkins will team with volunteers to help kids play games, tour the library, watch a movie and experience the evening in a camp-like setting.
Parents must pick up their children by 9 p.m. and provide a contact phone number to the Parent’s Night Out staff. Cost is $3 per child and space is limited to 12 kids. Pre-registration is required. Payment may be made in the Prescott Valley Library Bookstore in person when registering. Parents are required to sign a waiver regarding participation and the food that will be served during the activity. First come, first served for this program that fills up very quickly.
