The Prescott Valley Public Library, in conjunction with the Prescott Public Library and the Professional Writers of Prescott invite students to enter the “The 2014 Student Short Story Contests”
Divisions are High School (grades 9-12) Middle School (grades 6-8) and Elementary (grades 3-5). Awards will be presented for first through third place in each division. Winners will receive gift certificates, certificates of merit and a published book of the winning stories.
Each student may enter one short story, and should submit two copies. The story may be no more than 3,000 words in length. Entries must be postmarked or dropped off at either library on before March 15, 2014. Additionally, entries must include a completed ENTRY FORM. Please contact the library for more information, to pick up ENTRY FORMS and/or to receive a copy of the ENTRY RULES.
