Learn more from science-backed models, understand stress responses and how to increase your and your children’s tolerance to stress, gain knowledge and ideas in self-care for busy families and concepts in how budgeting your family’s time can calm chaos and usher in balanced mental health.
Depression and Anxiety – This webinar will focus on developing ways to manage negative thoughts, feelings and behaviors that result from depression. You will begin to build confidence and increase your self-esteem by focusing on realistic thinking, learning new coping skills and creating positive problem-solving. Join Kristina Bell, WYGC case manager, each week as we learn more about depression and anxiety.

Sadness is a human emotion that is experienced at different levels of intensity and for different durations. Sadness can be tearful, feeling tired, being grumpy, not having a lot of energy to get up and do things. For some, sadness can take a stronger hold, resulting in intense feelings lasting for days, changes in sleeping and eating patterns, not participating in regular activities and increases in conflicts with family members or friends. These elements of clinical depression can be influenced by both biological and environmental factors.
