A $1 million grant from the Arizona State Parks Land and Water Conservation Fund has made possible the first steps in enhancements at the Granite Creek Corridor reconstruction site. Granite Creek Corridor Improvements Delayed
Long-anticipated improvements along the Granite Creek Corridor will be delayed for at least a year because bids for the requested construction came in substantially higher than what had been originally estimated. Voicing enthusiastic support for making the downtown Granite Creek Corridor a safer, more user-friendly area, Prescott City Council members gave the go-ahead for design and engineering work needed during their end-of-January meeting.
