The Landings of Prescott Valley is very fortunate to have someone with Jim’s knowledge in so many areas and his willingness to always pitch in.
Jim served in the Marine Corps for four years on duty in the West Pacific. He’s been married 32 years and has one daughter and two grandchildren. Jim’s hobbies are poker and honey-dos.
As the maintenance manager, Jim’s responsibilities are different each day. On any given day, Jim could be testing the nurse call stations in each of The Landings’ 106 units. Each unit has three call stations for maximum resident safety – two in the bathroom and one bedside. During our recent snow days, Jim was out shoveling and spreading ice melt long before the sun came up. Our residents will love springtime planting in the two raised garden beds Jim is in the process of building. Those residents who chose a courtyard access room will get to enjoy the soothing sounds of the water fountain Jim constructed. He has even completed the Food Handlers course so he can help out in the dining room.
Jim’s responsibilities also include oversight of the housekeeping crew and any trades working in the building.
