Avoiding common financial blunders is the topic for an upcoming presentation at the Prescott Public Library. Thursday, February 20th at 3:30 in the Founders Suite, the presentation is offered by the Society for Financial Awareness. No matter which phase of life you are in, accumulation, preservation, distribution or transfer, there are always lessons you wish you had learned earlier. Since hindsight is 20/20, learn from those who learned things the hard way.
SOFA is a nationwide 501(c)3 nonprofit Educational Speakers Bureau. Their mission is to end financial illiteracy across America, one community at a time. As a Public Benefit Corporation, they are comprised of various financial professionals who offer a pro bono service to the community by providing various financial topics to companies, churches and organizations in their geographic locale. Members are professionals such as financial advisors, estate planning attorneys, accountants, realtors, mortgage brokers, credit counselors and health and wellness practitioners.
