The reality of “Virtual Reality Plans” is here.
The concept of understanding paper drawings (perhaps digital PDFs) before a project is built is key. But a large percentage of building owners are not sure what their project will look like prior to construction from paper plans. Headwaters Architecture recently designed a new medical office building and once again heard from the doctor/owner that he did not understand the plans. Although he was extremely happy with the finished product, we realized how important this new product is to our clients.
Designing a project takes time and transforms many times before the end product. Heating and cooling systems are incorporated, lighting, floor levels, window locations, structural materials and textures are discussed and incorporated into this phase. Once all of this is decided is when the drafting begins. At this point, the windows, walls and roof are developed and the interior and exterior illustrations are birthed.
From here, wouldn’t it be fun to be able to see – and walk through – your new home, just to make sure you love the window placements or how the kitchen flows and whether you like the placement of your washer and dryer, or if you like how the door swings.
So many times we hear, once construction starts and wall and floors are coming together, how small their rooms look, even though we have discussed many times exact dimensions.
Well, fear no more, the future is here. We at Headwaters Architecture now have the ability to allow you to digitally see and walk through your future home. We are super excited to show you how you can experience your project long before the crews show up on you site to get started.
When the time comes and you are in need of an architect, call Headwaters Architecture first. There is no one else in the Prescott area that offers Virtual Reality and we are sure that you will be disappointed if you miss out on this new, fantastic and fun option.
Virtual Reality is the wave of the future, and you can have it now with Headwaters Architecture. QCBN
