The inaugural 2015 Healthy Prescott Business Awards were issued by the Prescott Chamber of Commerce across six categories in three business sizes: one through 10 employees (small), 11 through 50 employees (medium) and 51 or more employees (large). Business sizes not represented within a particular category had no nominees.
- Best Locally Owned Business ― Grand Highland Hotel (small) and El Gato Azul (medium);
- Best Company to Work For ― Credit Union West (small), Dorn Homes (medium) and Las Fuentas Resort Village (large);
- Most Philanthropic Business ― Yavapai College Foundation (small), El Gato Azul (medium) and Guidance Aviation (large);
- Best New Business (open less than two years) ― Grand Highland Hotel (small);
- Best Established Business (open between two and 20 years) ― Helken & Horn Advertising Agency (small), Solar City (medium) and Las Fuentas Resort Village (large);
- Best Long-Time Business (open locally more than 20 years) — Sterling Ranch, Skull Valley (small), a tie between Olsen’s and Sharlot Hall Museum for medium, and Prescott YMCA (large).
The 2014-2015 Visionary Awards from the Prescott Area Young Professionals (PAYP) were presented to:
- Ariana Bennett ― account executive for CableOne Advertising and PAYP membership chair;
- Michelle Blevins ― membership and marketing director with the Prescott YMCA and a volunteer with numerous groups;
- Jessica Compton ― recreation coordinator for the Town of Prescott Valley and PAYP volunteer coordinator;
- Stan Goligoski ― executive director for the Yavapai County School Superintendent and Prescott native who returned in 2012 after 20 years in the military;
- Andy Jolley ― founder of the Prescott Law Group and youth sports coach;
- Michael Kouvelas — owner of the Hassayampa Inn and board member for the Boys and Girls Club of Central Arizona;
- Alex Wright — director of the Yavapai College Regional Economic Development Center, while working on a doctorate concerning community development in the 21st Century;
- Toby York — owner of Peaks Realty, the Hike Shack, Phantom Tek, Rugged Trail Tours and Prescott Peaks Group, who also is a board member for the Highlands Center for Natural History.
The Prescott High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) brought back 25 medals in individual and team events from a Region 4 conference in January:

- Jaden Forbes ― 2nd place – Client Services
