After months of anticipation, Men’s Basketball at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Prescott Campus tips off for the first time on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 2 p.m. vs. Biola University at the campus’ newly renovated Athletic Center.
“This is a community that shows a lot of support for athletic programs of all ages, but I think they’ve been craving college basketball,” said Men’s Basketball Head Coach Eric Fundalewicz. “The team has been working incredibly hard and is excited to get out on the court and represent Embry-Riddle and the Quad-City communities.”
Before the game, from 12:30 to 2 p.m., the community is invited to “Trunk or Treat” by parking and decorating their cars in Parking Lot “S” adjacent to the soccer field on Dobberteen Drive, then distributing candy to children from the trunks or backs of their vehicles. The parking lot will be closed during the event to provide a safe family environment for the trick-or-treaters.
A costume contest will be held during the game’s halftime.
Admission for all Embry-Riddle athletic events is as follows:
$3 Adults (or $20 for an eight-game Season Pass)
$2 Veterans and Senior Citizens
Free: Embry-Riddle Students/Staff/Faculty (with valid Embry-Riddle ID)
High School Students (with valid student ID)
Children under 13
