Education/Registration/Participation has been the theme for Prescott Good Governance Committee for 2014. These timely workshops culminate this year’s activities. If your interest is community organizing, running for nonpartisan or partisan office, serving on non-partisan commissions and boards, working for advocacy and non-profit organizations, or just want to be a more active in your community, we invite you to join us.
Saturday workshop: Nov. 22 – The Nuts & Bolts of Running for Office and Staying on Track. Without a solid candidate AND campaign plan, it’s just about impossible to run a successful campaign. In this three-hour session you’ll identify the areas you need to focus on to be prepared to run for office, as well as the components of a campaign plan to ensure that you are able to out-think your opponent and launch a successful campaign.
