Do you know someone who deserves recognition for outstanding service to the community or to an individual? Do you think an organization with a significant presence in Prescott Valley goes above and beyond? The Town of Prescott Valley is implementing a Citizen of the Month program and is looking for nominations from the community.
The Prescott Valley Citizen of the Month must be a Prescott Valley resident who has served as a volunteer, or who has engaged in a series of or single selfless acts. The Town also will take nominations for organizations that have a significant presence in Prescott Valley and serve the community in an extraordinary manner. This program will allow for recognition of some residents who may otherwise never be noticed for the ways they make others’ lives better every day. Nominations, if not chosen, will be returned into the pool for later consideration.
A board of six varied community members – four who live and work in Prescott Valley, and two who head up organizations with a significant presence in the community, will consider nominations and choose each Citizen of the Month.
Nominate an individual or organization by downloading a form at pvaz.com, or to request a form, contact Communications Relations Coordinator Heidi Dahms Foster at 928-759-3123 or email hfoster@pvaz.net.
