Community Generosity Benefits Local School Music Programs
Businesses and individuals are giving 13 Quad Cities schools a boost. Local grants are aimed at helping fund instrumental music programs, thanks to those who support the Prescott POPS Symphony Orchestra. POPS Board President Anne Babinsky said the board authorized $10,500 to be distributed among qualified public, private and charter schools that offer formal instrumental music to students in grades 5 through 12.
